AZ COVID-19 RECOMMENDED GUIDELINES
FOR COACHES
- There will be only 3 coaches allowed per team including the scorekeeper.
- You are responsible for hand sanitizer for your team and dugout.
- Only one coach per plate meeting.
- There will be no shaking hands, high fives, elbows, or anything that requires contact after the game.
- We will do check in as much as possible via Electronic - But please bring paper copies of insurance and birth certificates.
- Make sure players have their own equipment and water before game starts. We can not have parents going to and from the dugout.
- Scheduled start times will have 25 minute or more gaps to allow new teams that are coming in and out of dugouts.
- Please do not try and get in a dugout until it has been completely cleared.
- Please try and keep distance in areas where you warm up.
- Please try and keep the same balls on the same fields.
- Please check Arizona State Guidelines for social distancing. It might not be the same for your state.
- Please clean up your dugout of everything before leaving.
- Please no seeds, no chew, and no spitting per CDC guidelines.
FOR PARENTS AND SPECTATORS
- Must be seated at least 6 feet apart.
- Bringing your own chairs is highly suggested.
- Make sure players have their own equipment and water before game starts we can not have parents going to and from the dugout.
- Try to sit behind the outfield fences and foul lines
- Please check Arizona State Guidelines for social distancing. It might not be the same for your state
- ANYONE over the age of 65, and / or anyone with underlying health issues should follow CDC/Government guidelines on attending group events. Review the CDC website for their latest recommendations.
- Masks - Follow State & Local Requirements: Any person that wants to wear a cloth face covering or mask may to do so as long as it does not become a safety issue but this is not required.
FOR UMPIRES
- Please try and keep the same balls on the same fields.
- Please check Arizona State Guidelines for social distancing. It might not be the same for your state.

- Dress in your vehicle.
- Do not touch players equipment, kick the bat out of the way if needed.
- Wearing a face covering is not required. If wearing a face covering please change throughout the day.
