Event Updates - Schutt Cup
THURSDAY 8:00PM:
Based on the current weather forecast and it being a 3-day holiday weekend, we are going to cancel this weekend’s Schutt Cup event. The current forecast calls for rain to begin early afternoon Saturday. When that happens, we would not be able to continue the event as scheduled, nor make it up on a future weekend.
In lieu of the Schutt Cup event, we will be offering your team an opportunity to get on the field Saturday morning and play 2-3 friendly games. Game times would be 8am, 945am and/or 1130am. We will schedule the friendlies, take care of field maintenance and rental fees, supply game balls and 2 umpires per game. The cost for the Friendly games would be $125 per game. BLD would charge a gate fee.
We would need to know by 10am Friday morning if your team would like to play in the Friendly so we can put a schedule together.
With your entry fee for the Schutt Cup, you will have 3 options:
Option 1: Play in the Saturday morning Friendly. We would deduct the cost of the friendly out of your entry fee and the remaining portion would remain on file as a credit you can use towards a future TCS So Cal event.
Option 2: Not play in the Friendly and keep 100% of your entry fee on file as a credit. Once you know which future event you would like to apply this towards, please let us know.
Option 3: Refund your entry fee minus a 20% admin fee per our refund policy, which you can review here.
